From Billie Holiday, Charlie Parker, B.B. King, to Jimi Hendrix, Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie, Cecil Taylor & many others. Sam Rivers is the jazz world’s high octane octogenarian. He is a two-time Grammy nominee, yearly jazz flutist of the year & in the Jazz Hall of Fame. The Sam Rivers Quartet and the Rivbea Orchestra are the definition of true Blues & Jazz. |
